Lust 4 Luxury proudly contributes $5.00 from each Private Kelowna and Okanagan Wine Tour to support a local charity, changing each season. Our collective goal is to enhance the lives of Central Okanagan residents. We appreciate our guests for choosing the Best Private Luxury Wine Tours in Kelowna and the Okanagan Valley, as together, we actively make a difference and drive positive change.
During our 2018 season, we donated to the Okanagan Boys & Girls Club. The Boys & Girls Club provides a safe place where young people can feel as though they belong. It is in these safe places that our youth can discover and achieve their dreams. Our donation went towards the operation of Youth and Family Programs, Support Services and Clubs. Something we appreciate about the Okanagan Boys & Girls Clubs is that they offer a low membership fee of $10.00 dollars per year. Another wonderful program feature is that no one is turned away due to an inability to pay the membership fee and we support that.
During our 2019 season; with the support of our guests, we joined the BC SPCA in the fight against animal cruelty. Kelowna is just 1 of 44 BC SPCA locations across the province that is doing amazing work by serving sick, neglected, abused and homeless animals. We are all about spreading the love by helping when and where we can!
During our 2020 season, we felt it was more important then ever to give back to a cause that impacts us all. One Tree Planted is a smart and efficient way to help improve air quality while at the same time restoring natural habitat for wild and endangered species. Were happy to report that every dollar donated is another tree planted and for this we can truly breathe easier.
During our 2021 season, we wanted to assist those living in our community struggling with Mental Health. The Canadian Mental Health Association was founded more than 100 years ago and operates in more than 330 communities across Canada. The CMHA’s mission is to advocate and provide resources for the 1 in 5 people in Canada who have a mental illness, and for all 5 in 5 of us who have mental health. At Lust 4 Luxury, we support this mission, and everyone touched by Mental Health. If you or someone you know needs help, please reach out, everyone is important.
During our 2022 season, with help from of our valued guests, the BC Cancer Foundation is now closer to reaching their current priorities at the Interior Region. Current Priorities: Accelerate a New World-Class Systemic Therapy Suite; Increase Breast Cancer Research; Cultivate Genomics Research; Attract and Retain World-Leading Talent; Support the Patient Comfort Fund. Unfortunately, it’s not uncommon to know someone who’s been diagnosed with cancer. Thankfully, BC Cancer experts are at the helm of cancer research and care innovation.
During our 2023 season, a donation made from each wine tour, helped us support the Alzheimer Society of B.C. The term "dementia" doesn't refer to one, specific disease. Rather, it's an overall term for a set of symptoms that are caused by disorders affecting the brain. Alzheimer's disease is a chronic neurodegenerative disease that destroys brain cells, causing thinking ability and memory to deteriorate over time. There are supports currently available to help you, your family or someone you know that’s living with Dementia or Alzheimer’s Disease please get connected.
During the 2024 season, we focused on the heart. After losing a parent to sudden cardiac arrest in March 2023, the cause became personal. In Canada, heart disease and stroke claim a life every five minutes, affecting millions. With most Canadians having at least one risk factor, this is a challenge we can’t ignore. The Heart & Stroke Foundation has led major breakthroughs—like heart transplants and stroke treatments—helping cut death rates by 75% over the past 60 years. Their progress gives hope—and reminds us that through awareness, research, and action, we can help more hearts keep beating strong.
This year, we are excited for the opportunity to give back to Local Wildlife Conservation
At Lust 4 Luxury Tours Inc., we believe in supporting not just local businesses, but the environment and wildlife that make the Okanagan Valley so extraordinary. For the 2025 season, we are proud to donate a portion of our proceeds to the Interior Wildlife Rehabilitation Society—a dedicated, non-profit organization that rescues, rehabilitates, and releases injured and orphaned wildlife throughout the BC Interior.
