Lust 4 Luxury proudly contributes $5.00 from every Private Kelowna and Okanagan Wine Tour to support a local charity, with a new organization featured each season. Together with our guests, we are committed to making a meaningful impact in the Central Okanagan. We believe every tour should do more than create unforgettable memories; it should give back.
Our Giving Journey
During our 2018 season, we donated to the Okanagan Boys & Girls Club. The Boys & Girls Club provides a safe place where young people can feel as though they belong. Our donation went towards the operation of Youth and Family Programs, Support Services and Clubs. Something we appreciate about the Okanagan Boys & Girls Clubs is that no one is turned away due to an inability to pay the membership fee and we support that.
During our 2019 season; with the support of our guests, we proudly partnered with the BC SPCA in the fight against animal cruelty. Their work across 44 locations in British Columbia provides care and protection for sick, neglected, abused and homeless animals. Supporting this mission was a natural fit for us, we believe in spreading compassion wherever we can!
During our 2020 season, we felt it was more important than ever to give back to a cause that impacts us all. One Tree Planted is a smart and efficient way to help improve air quality while at the same time restoring natural habitat for wild and endangered species. We're happy to report that every dollar donated is another tree planted and for this we can truly breathe easier.
During our 2021 season, we wanted to assist those living in our community struggling with mental health. The Canadian Mental Health Association was founded more than 100 years ago and today, they advocate and provide resources for 1 in 5 people in Canada who have a mental illness. At Lust 4 Luxury, we support this important work, and everyone touched by Mental Health. If you or someone you know needs help, please reach out, everyone is important.
During our 2022 season, with help from of our valued guests, the BC Cancer Foundation is now closer to reaching their current priorities at the Interior Region. Current Priorities: Accelerate a New World-Class Systemic Therapy Suite; Increase Breast Cancer Research; Cultivate Genomics Research; Attract and Retain World-Leading Talent; Support the Patient Comfort Fund. Unfortunately, it’s not uncommon to know someone who’s been diagnosed with cancer. Thankfully, BC Cancer experts are at the helm of cancer research and care innovation.
During our 2023 season, a donation made from each private wine tour, helped us support the Alzheimer Society of B.C. The term "dementia" doesn't refer to one, specific disease. Rather, it's an overall term for a set of symptoms that are caused by disorders affecting the brain. Alzheimer's disease is a chronic neurodegenerative disease that destroys brain cells, causing thinking ability and memory to deteriorate over time. Lust 4 Luxury’s donation helped ensure there were supports available to connect families and individuals with dementia or alzheimer’s disease to valuable supports.
During the 2024 season, we focused on the heart. A cause deeply personal to us after losing a parent to a sudden cardiac arrest in March 2023. In Canada, heart disease and stroke claim a life every five minutes. The Heart & Stroke Foundation continues to lead life-saving research and innovation, helping reduce death rate significantly over the past 60 years. Supporting this work is our way of helping protect future generations.
During our 2025 season, we were delighted to give back to local wildlife conservation. With the support of our guests, we proudly contributed to the Interior Wildlife Rehabilitation Society – a dedicated non-profit that rescues, rehabilitates, and releases injured and orphaned wildlife throughout the BC Interior. This initiative helps support the health of our ecosystems while positively impacting the wildlife population.
For the 2026 season, we are proud to support the Elizabeth Fry Society—an organization dedicated to advocating for women’s rights and supporting victims of crime. Their work empowers some of the most vulnerable members of our community, including women and children, helping them rebuild their lives with dignity, stability, and hope.
